I say this a lot, but it’s true – this was a session I was looking forward to for a LONG time! This is most likely the most fun, sweet, loving, caring family I have EVER met. Their personalities all shine through and they are SUCH a pleasure to be around. You might notice Val, Ryan and Audrey from Audrey’s newborn photos that I had taken a few months ago. This time we added Ryan’s sister Mickie (who you also might recongize – she was on the past Olympic Winter games on the US Woman’s Bobsled team), her boyfriend Jeremy and Mr. and Mrs. Rzepka.

The best part of this session is that we did it mostly in the rain. I was a bit nervous but someone was always willing to hold an umbrella over my head. The rain, clouds and sun peeking through made for some amazing light.

I had an absolute blast and had a killer time trying to pick out some favorites for the blog! Hope you all enjoy!

Cami hasn’t gotten her picture taken by me since OCTOBER! I swear, Julia got all the auntie pictures out of me. I feel bad for my unborn children – hopefully I will take some of them!

I am so lucky that I married into such an awesome family. A family that loves photos just as much as I do!!

This is no exception when it comes to Erin, Adam’s second cousin on his mom’s side. She recently bought a camera and is taking William’s photo all the time!

I was super excited when they wanted to set up a one year session with me! I hadn’t seen William in a super long time and I wanted to see how he’s changed. The first thing I noticed? He is quite the walker! He was running around all over the place! The second thing? He had a lot to say! He was talking a mile a minute most of the time! And third? He is an independent little boy! He didn’t need mom or dad’s help running around Firefighters Park!!

I can’t wait to see what he’s like when he’s two! Hope you all enjoy the preview!

I had the pleasure of shooting the Kurtz family again this weekend! You might remember them from the awesome Fall session we did last year. Well, Landon and Sophie have grown up! Sophie is now a big one year old and Landon is four! Both kids are incredibly cute and honestly, extremely sweet. I think they might be use to having a camera around.

I had a blast with them in Kensington park – we got to check out the boats and even change into bathing suits and go into the water. It ended up being the perfect day with the perfect family.

There is just something that I absolutely love about getting the opportunity to document a family – esp. a fairly new family. I love it because they are so unplanned. It has to be. When there are any children under the age of four you have to just kind of learn to go with the flow.

I have come across my fair share of two year olds and NONE have been as well behaved as little Tyler.  I met Kyleen, Scott and Tyler at the cutest little park in Beverly Hills and we literally just walked around, talking, playing and having a good time.

I let Tyler do his own thing and boy was he cute! I think he wondered about me at first – me and my big camera – but he soon came around and we were able to get some ADORABLE pictures of him and his mommy and daddy!
