Gwen Turns One!! {Children Session}
One of my favorite ages to shoot has to be one. First off, the kids are out of this world cute at this age. Not only are they cute but they are walking, talking and interested in just about everything. It makes them so fun to watch and see what they are going to do next.
Not only was Gwen as cute as a button (and perfect) – her mommy and daddy came with balloons and a cupcake (which I was SUPER excited for). Gwen loved it all – we walked throughout the park and ended with some fun with balloons and some cake! I had an absolute blast meeting this family for the first time!
Hope you enjoy the preview!
The beautiful family.
Is Gwen not the cutest little thing?
A favorite family photo <3
LOVE this – she looks so angelic.
Thinking about the delicious cupcake.
I would say that the cherry is the best part too
And this is obviously the most efficient way to eat it
Thank you to Gwen and her mommy and daddy! I loved that you brought something new to the session – cupcakes and balloons were SO fun!! Can’t wait to see you all again!
Ireland Turns Three!! {Children Session}
The first ten minutes of the session are always the most tricky when it comes to kids. I think within the first ten minutes of meeting you can tell if the session is going to be a success or not. I have to say, I wasn’t sure when I walked in to see Ireland. She didn’t remember me from the last time we did photos (she shouldn’t- she was two) and so it was a little tense for awhile. THEN her mommy went to grab something and Ireland was sitting with me in the foyer. We clicked. We talked about swimming and hide and go seek and what she did that day. After she opened up – there was no stopping her. She is quite the talker now!! I love it!
I love it. I love when I’m surprised. I thought that we weren’t going to get Ireland to smile that day but guess what? She didn’t stop. She is the sweetest and cutest little three year old! We went to the park, beach and even for a walk in the woods (where Elmo ran by a couple of times).
It was a pleasure to see this family once again and I can’t wait till next time.
Enjoy the preview!
Yep. She knows she’s adorable.
She is at the age where all she knows is – GO.
Yep – this three year old knows how to plan the Violin!

She is honestly one of the happiest little girls!
She is also very inquisitiveness.
Who doesn’t love a good swing?
Yes, this outfit totally happened and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
The sweet little fairy in the woods
Thank you to Ireland and her mommy and daddy!!! I had a blast once again and cannot wait until November!!
Dan and Becky {We Will: Engagement Session}
I find myself very lucky to get recommendations from past clients. This session was just the case – the wedding (and maternity below) I did with Travis and Kim went so well that I got asked back from the family to do Dan and Becky’s engagement session and next year, wedding. Dan is Kim’s older brother and I could not have been more excited to get to spend some time with this family once again.
We went to downtown Plymouth and hit a bunch of different areas – they were up for anything!
I can’t wait for their wedding in April!
Yea, they are pretty adorable.

You all may remember Kim and Travis from their wedding I shot earlier this year … well… they’re expecting!!!!
I could not be happier for these two. They are going to be such great parents – this baby is going to be loved by SOOOO many. I was so excited when Kim asked me to take some maternity photos – she was just GLOWING. I can’t wait to meet the little one!

Tim and Jessica {I Do}
I had been looking forward to this wedding since Jes booked with me months and months ago. I knew Jes and her husband, Tim, from various things – one being that we all went to the same high school together (side note – Go Novi High!).
Everything from the day turned out perfectly – the bride, the groom, the bridal party and their sweet little girl – Molly. Now Molly could not have been more of a doll. She was incredibly patient, super sweet and out of this world cute. Her dress was TO DIE FOR along with her mommy’s. The two of them just looked SO beautiful!
We were able to secure a Fire Truck from Tim’s old stomping grounds and boy am I glad we did! It was so fun and added uniqueness to the day. Speaking of uniqueness wait till you see a photo of their entrance! The whole day was perfect and I couldn’t be more thankful that I was able to be a part of it. You’ll also see some familiar faces in some of the photos as well!
Enjoy the preview!

MSU Pompon Team!! {Michigan State University}
I feel so lucky that I get to come back every year and do the Michigan State Pompon team’s photo shoot. I am a 2007 alum from the best school in the world and it makes me proud that I get to come back and shoot on a campus that I can honestly say is the best (better than alllllllll the rest).
We had a fabulous time checking out different parts of the campus and stopping here and there to shoot. I had the best second shooter/assistant/bestest friend/Pom team alum ever to accompany me on the trip. I was completely and utterly worried that we were going to get rained out BUT it held off and we had a BEAUTIFUL day!!
I can’t wait till next time! Enjoy the preview!!

They Said I Do {Reception Session}
The last of my sessions on Labor Day weekend was taken place at the Lyon Oaks Golf Club. These two weren’t going to get any photos of their wedding! Thank goodness the bride’s sister contacted me and asked if I could come along for a few hours to just get a couple family photos and such. I am SO glad she did! I had such a lovely time meeting and hanging out with everyone on such a gorgeous afternoon!
These two are clearly in love and I sincerely hope that they have the most wonderful life together.
Enjoy the preview!!

A Sweet Family of Four {Family Session}
This was the third session I had over labor day weekend and I couldn’t have asked for nicer clients. They were an incrediably sweet family of four – dad, mom and two little girls – and, of course, their dog. Seeing how sweet these little girls were to each other made my decision much clearer (I need to have just girls
)
We started at their house and then made our way all over downtown Plymouth (LOVE that city). We did everything from their backyard to the train tracks. We got cozy, urban and greenery all in one session! It was perfect.
Hope you enjoy the preview!
The beautiful family.
How stinkin cute are these sisters?!

Love taking photos at clients houses – it makes the photos so personal- on their front porch!
Again with the cuteness.

Thank you to this awesomely adorable family! I had a blast going around Plymouth with all of you and I sincerely hope that we can get together again soon!
Matteo {Newborn Shoot}
This family started off like any other family does. Mom and dad got married and decided to have a baby. It was a beautiful boy. Years later – a fifth boy arrived.
I say it every time I post about this family – I don’t know how the mom does it. She is such a beautiful person inside and out and you can tell that all the boys just adore her – especially the newest one in the bunch – Matteo. When I arrived the boys greeted me as usually and took me to their new brother (they all seemed super excited to introduce me). Matteo could not have been more of an angel. He had his brothers touching and screaming around him but he paid no mind, he knew he was getting his photo taken.
I hope you all enjoy the preview as I had taking all the photos!!
Welcome…. baby Matteo.
Such a content baby
Forgot if this was a cry or yawn … either way, he’s cute doing it!
Three of the new big brothers!
He had SO much dark hair! Looks like his brother Enzo.
I do believe that’s a little smirk
Being in his bassinet makes him sleepy.
And….. he’s out.
Taking photos is tiring for a little guy!
Thank you once again to this amazing family for having me over yet again. I love it every time! Enjoy Matteo and I hope to see you soon!!
Labor Day Session Number One {Family Session}
This family is no stranger to my blog – and I’m so happy about that
This time, we added a few more people – the little guys grandparents from way across the pond. We had an amazing day (maybe just a little too hot) and got some great photos! He was smiling from ear to ear the moment I got there – which I was ecstatic about – I knew it was going to be a good session! We went everywhere around the house – inside, outside, sand and water! It made for such a variety of shots!
I truly really enjoy taking this families portraits and hope I can do it again soon!
Enjoy the preview!
LOVE this of mommy and baby!
I had to put this up – love how he’s looking at his grandpa.
