Baby Frankie and Family {Metro Detroit Family Photographer}
It is so fun to get contacted from someone I went to high school with. I’ve been getting a lot of sessions from people who went to my high school lately and I’ve absolutely loved every second of it. Tina was a grade above me and I can still remember us playing soccer together in 7th (me) and 8th (her) grade.
Tina and Mike got married two years ago and this past October their little Frankie arrived. Frankie is beyond rock star. He was incredible! He has just perfect little features and was a blast to take photos of. I think he might have a career in modeling someday.

Ellison Turns ONE! {Metro Detroit Family Photographer)
Repeat clients always make me smile. It gives me a chance to see the little ones grow and I’m able to catch up on everything that’s been going on in their lives. This family is one of the kindest I have ever worked with. As I’ve said before, I graduated High School with Ellison’s mommy and this was my third time capturing the special moments in their life. I have been lucky enough to do Ellison’s newborn photos, six month photos and now her big first year photos.
One year photos might be my very favorite. I pretty much know that they will always involve the cutest little outfits, balloons and of course, cake. Add some snowy photos and this mad for a pretty amazing session. Ellison has such a personality now and is giving her parents a run for their money. She is very active and is interested in everything around her.
Ellison and I had an epic ‘Hi’ off (one of her favorite words) and she showed me all around her house. When it came to digging into the cupcake she had no problem whatsoever. She LOVED it! This session in one word was FUN!

Kennedy ~ Three Month Session {Metro Detroit Children Photographer}
When I was a kid I use to always want to act and be like my cousin Erika. I didn’t have a sister or any cousins that were my age – so it was her I would look up too (I may have even been annoying at times). This is why I get so excited to spend time with her and her family – because I feel the same way as I did when I was a kid. It’s so fun to see her in the role of mother – she’s great at it. She and her husband, Justin, recently had another girl – Kennedy!
You can already see that Kennedy is starting to come into her own looks and have her own little personality. She is at the perfect cuddling age and she has some serious rock star hair.
The thing I enjoy the most about doing sessions for family members is the fact that I can hold and love on the babies! It was hard for me to put her down and start the session! She is the newest baby in the family which means that not holding her when I see her is really not an option. After some time I was able to get down to business and I think we got some really sweet shots!

2011 Wedding Recap
I had the BEST year. Nothing can live up to 2011 in my mind. I got married, gained a new family, my brother got married, we got a puppy and we got our own place. It honestly was a jammed back year and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Besides all my personal happenings I got to photograph the most wonderful couples. I was truly blessed with such wonderful couples this year that I don’t know how this year could get better!
