When I was a kid I use to always want to act and be like my cousin Erika. I didn’t have a sister or any cousins that were my age – so it was her I would look up too (I may have even been annoying at times). This is why I get so excited to spend time with her and her family – because I feel the same way as I did when I was a kid. It’s so fun to see her in the role of mother – she’s great at it. She and her husband, Justin, recently had another girl – Kennedy!

You can already see that Kennedy is starting to come into her own looks and have her own little personality. She is at the perfect cuddling age and she has some serious rock star hair.

The thing I enjoy the most about doing sessions for family members is the fact that I can hold and love on the babies! It was hard for me to put her down and start the session!  She is the newest baby in the family which means that not holding her when I see her is really not an option. After some time I was able to get down to business and I think we got some really sweet shots!

I am blessed to have a full time job that allows me to have the week between Christmas and New Years off. This allowed me to meet such a wonderful family!

I love when families recommend me to other families – it is honestly the best compliment someone can give me. It means that they were so happy with their photos that they are willing to talk about me to their friends. Thank you to all of you out there that has done this. I am forever grateful.

This family was sweet, kind and fun! We had a blast taking some one year photos of Chase and some family photos outside in the snow! I had such a good time and I’m so happy that I was able to met this wonderful family!

Cayleigh Ann is one month old today!! I was going to wait another day to put up her blog but I thought her one month mark would be a good gift to her!

Cayleigh Ann is Travis and Kim’s newborn girl. You may remember them from their wedding and their maternity session! They are great people and I couldn’t be happier for them. Cayleigh Ann is just adorable! She is incredibly sweet and any face she made was just the cutest thing.

There really isn’t much more to say about this family. This is my fourth time shooting this family and I feel so lucky that they keep asking me back. I enjoy seeing all these boys each time I come back!

I had the pleasure of meeting Jorgia and her husband when Jorgia was a bridesmaid in her friend Cameron’s wedding.  I found out at the wedding that Jorgia was expecting and I was secretly hoping that she would ask me to do her baby girl’s photos! About a month ago she contacted me and I was SO excited!

Last weekend we got together at their house and took some family photos and then put the spotlight on the little star. Kamryn is unbelievably cute and incredibly content.  This baby doesn’t cry! She was a little angel in all her cute little outfits! Even their dog was able to get into some photos! Love that!

This family was just the coolest! I walked into their home and instantly felt welcomed – that’s why I love this. I love meeting new people – especially families like this one. They were warm, friendly and unique!

Abe’s mommy set up a family photo for not only Christmas photos but for some special family photos for her mom. I am pretty sure her mom is going to be extremely excited about this gift! The best gift you could give someone is the gift of memories and these photos will give that to her. A moment capture in time of her beautiful family.

I had a blast with this family and I hope that I’m able to get together with them again soon!

I met the most wonderful family this past weekend! They didn’t get recommended - they didn’t see me on Facebook - they found me on Google. I love that.  I love that you can get connected so easily. You search for what you what and you find it instantly – what’s not to love?

I’m so glad that they came across my name and that I was able to get the opportunity to meet this wonderful family of five. Mom and Dad had two beautiful twin girls and a little while later – a handsome little boy. All three kids are just the most adorable things and the twins have SUCH great personalities. They were SO interested in my camera – every break they wanted to push the buttons! I think I see a future photographer in those two!

I had a wonderful time and cannot wait to see this family again!
