Hailey and Family {Metro Detroit Family Photographer}

Monday, February 6th, 2012

I seriously think I hit the jackpot with clients. This past weekend I got the chance to photograph the coolest, sweetest, most awesome family. They got recommended from another awesome client so I pretty much knew I was going to get along with them.

We had talked about doing photos inside but we decided to do them at Beverly Park. At the time they booked the session my thoughts went straight to snow and winter and bundled up shots. Well, on Saturday, it was about 40 some degrees with nothing but sunshine. In the middle of winter we were able to get a spring like photo shoot! I was so excited about the weather!!

Not only was the weather awesome – this session was. It was a three year, family, maternity session all rolled into one! We were able to grab so many different and fun shots – I didn’t want to stop! Can’t wait to see this wonderful family again – with their new bundle of joy!!

Enjoy the preview!

The beautiful family.

Ellison Turns ONE! {Metro Detroit Family Photographer)

Sunday, January 15th, 2012

Repeat clients always make me smile. It gives me a chance to see the little ones grow and I’m able to catch up on everything that’s been going on in their lives. This family is one of the kindest I have ever worked with. As I’ve said before, I graduated High School with Ellison’s mommy and this was my third time capturing the special moments in their life. I have been lucky enough to do Ellison’s newborn photos, six month photos and now her big first year photos.

One year photos might be my very favorite. I pretty much know that they will always involve the cutest little outfits, balloons and of course, cake. Add some snowy photos and this mad for a pretty amazing session. Ellison has such a personality now and is giving her parents a run for their money. She is very active and is interested in everything around her.

Ellison and I had an epic ‘Hi’ off (one of her favorite words) and she showed me all around her house. When it came to digging into the cupcake she had no problem whatsoever. She LOVED it! This session in one word was FUN!

Enjoy the preview!

What dat?

Adore.

She is so stinkin cute.

Yep. They are a pretty gorgeous family.

Running away from mom and dad – and me :)

Ran to her room … <3

LOVED this as soon as I saw it in the camera.

I’m sorry – I just had to post all five of these. She was SO cute!

After she got cleaned up we had to go play in the snow for a little while!

She was totally digging the snow!

So stinkin cute – I think I told them that about 100 times.

<3 it.

Thank you so much, one again, to this wonderful family! It is always such a joy to catch up and see Ellison grow!

What wonderful families I got to meet this year.  Some of these families I saw multiple times this year and some once. Whether it was one time or five times – I could NOT have been luckier with the types of families I got to work with. Each of them unique in their own way.

Thank you so much to the all the wonderful families I have had this year.

Thank you to all my wonderful clients from January through July!!

The Thomas Family {Children/Family Shoot}

Tuesday, November 29th, 2011

There really isn’t too much to say about this session. I love this family. I could not have been luckier with the family that I married into. Derek, Jen and Cami are three of the most amazing people I have ever met. Whenever we get together we always have such a good time. I truly do love them.

We had such a good time this past weekend going to the park and then out to lunch! It’s always fun to take my little niece’s photos and see what kind of faces we can get.

Enjoy the preview.

Let me just say that I love this family. I love that they ask me back time and time again. I love being able to see these little ones grow up!

This time I was asked to take group family photos of the two sides. This is such a good idea! I LOVE that Martene wanted to do this. It’s honestly such a precious gift for everyone.

Sophia {One Year Session}

Sunday, November 6th, 2011

This little girl? SO cute! Not only was she super cute but her mama dressed her to the tee. Every outfit was the cutest little thing I have ever seen.

We were able to go to Sophia’s aunts house and I’m SO glad we did! She has so many great areas and lives on a lake so the scenery was just beautiful. There was nothing that I didn’t like about this session! Sophia, her parents and her sweet aunt were just a joy to hang out with!

Enjoy the preview!!

Seriously – what the cute?!

How cute is this outfit with the pearls?! Love it!

What the eyes?!

Is she just not angelic?

LOVE this.

Another super cute outfit!

Love this smirk :)

Tutu time!

She even had balloons :)

Another one I love.

She wouldn’t touch her cupcake but we had to have her sit with it!

Another outfit change! Love her eyes in this one.

And why not just one more outfit change ;)

Love it.

Thank you Sophia and parents!! I had a wonderful time spending time with the three of you and I hope that we can do it again sometime soon!! Hope you enjoyed your preview!

Emily Turns Two {Family Session}

Thursday, November 3rd, 2011

Last year I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful family when little Emily turned one year old. They asked me back again this year for the big two year and I’m so happy that they did. They are such a wonderful couple with such love for their daughter Emily.

Although Emily is entering two and all that comes with it, she had such a sweet personality about her. She sang to me, she talked to me and she said no to me (what two year old doesn’t). She was full of personality and I’m so happy that I was able to capture it all!

Enjoy the preview!

Meet the fam :)

Couldn’t choose between the next couple.

I just loved her hair! Such a cute bob!

So Sweet

A favorite.

How amazing are these eyes?!

Um, what the cute is this dress?

Pure happiness right there.

<3

Mommy and daddy had her laughing!

And we will end on my favorite :)

Thank you to this wonderful family! Hope to see you again for year number three!!

Little Miss Kate {Family Session}

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

You might remember Miss. Kate from her six month session last year – she’s now over a year and cuter then ever! Her mommy and daddy brought her to Heritage Park in Farmington Hills and we spent some time going all around the park.

It wasn’t hard to get this little one to smile – she was constantly laughing and smiling at her mom and dad. She was just too sweet for words and I hope that I get to see her soon!

Enjoy the preview!

The beautiful family <3

Love it!

I’m telling ya – this family didn’t take one bad photo!

Seriously – what the smiles?!

Love this face!

LOVE

So sweet in pink!

<3

Two many favorites this session!

Not everything is smiles and sunshine ;)

Such a fun little girl!

Thank you to this wonderful family for asking me back! I had a fabulous time and cannot wait until next time!
