November 22nd, 2011

Let me just say that I love this family. I love that they ask me back time and time again. I love being able to see these little ones grow up!

This time I was asked to take group family photos of the two sides. This is such a good idea! I LOVE that Martene wanted to do this. It’s honestly such a precious gift for everyone.

Sophia {One Year Session}

November 6th, 2011

This little girl? SO cute! Not only was she super cute but her mama dressed her to the tee. Every outfit was the cutest little thing I have ever seen.

We were able to go to Sophia’s aunts house and I’m SO glad we did! She has so many great areas and lives on a lake so the scenery was just beautiful. There was nothing that I didn’t like about this session! Sophia, her parents and her sweet aunt were just a joy to hang out with!

Enjoy the preview!!

Seriously – what the cute?!

How cute is this outfit with the pearls?! Love it!

What the eyes?!

Is she just not angelic?

LOVE this.

Another super cute outfit!

Love this smirk :)

Tutu time!

She even had balloons :)

<3

Another one I love.

She wouldn’t touch her cupcake but we had to have her sit with it!

Another outfit change! Love her eyes in this one.

And why not just one more outfit change ;)

Love it.

Thank you Sophia and parents!! I had a wonderful time spending time with the three of you and I hope that we can do it again sometime soon!! Hope you enjoyed your preview!

Emily Turns Two {Family Session}

November 3rd, 2011

Last year I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful family when little Emily turned one year old. They asked me back again this year for the big two year and I’m so happy that they did. They are such a wonderful couple with such love for their daughter Emily.

Although Emily is entering two and all that comes with it, she had such a sweet personality about her. She sang to me, she talked to me and she said no to me (what two year old doesn’t). She was full of personality and I’m so happy that I was able to capture it all!

Enjoy the preview!

Meet the fam :)

Couldn’t choose between the next couple.

I just loved her hair! Such a cute bob!

So Sweet

A favorite.

How amazing are these eyes?!

Um, what the cute is this dress?

Pure happiness right there.

<3

Mommy and daddy had her laughing!

And we will end on my favorite :)

Thank you to this wonderful family! Hope to see you again for year number three!!

Little Miss Kate {Family Session}

November 1st, 2011

You might remember Miss. Kate from her six month session last year – she’s now over a year and cuter then ever! Her mommy and daddy brought her to Heritage Park in Farmington Hills and we spent some time going all around the park.

It wasn’t hard to get this little one to smile – she was constantly laughing and smiling at her mom and dad. She was just too sweet for words and I hope that I get to see her soon!

Enjoy the preview!

The beautiful family <3

Love it!

I’m telling ya – this family didn’t take one bad photo!

Seriously – what the smiles?!

Love this face!

LOVE

So sweet in pink!

<3

Two many favorites this session!

Not everything is smiles and sunshine ;)

Who doesn’t love a little swing?!

Such a fun little girl!

Thank you to this wonderful family for asking me back! I had a fabulous time and cannot wait until next time!

Gwen Turns One!! {Children Session}

September 29th, 2011

One of my favorite ages to shoot has to be one. First off, the kids are out of this world cute at this age. Not only are they cute but they are walking, talking and interested in just about everything. It makes them so fun to watch and see what they are going to do next.

Not only was Gwen as cute as a button (and perfect) – her mommy and daddy came with balloons and a cupcake (which I was SUPER excited for). Gwen loved it all – we walked throughout the park and ended with some fun with balloons and some cake! I had an absolute blast meeting this family for the first time!

Hope you enjoy the preview!

The beautiful family.

LOVE this :)

Is Gwen not the cutest little thing?

The one year old!

Such a happy little girl!

A favorite family photo <3

I just loved this face.

LOVE this – she looks so angelic.

Balloons!!

<3 favorite <3

SO sweet.

Thinking about the delicious cupcake.

I would say that the cherry is the best part too :)

And this is obviously the most efficient way to eat it :)

Happy Birthday, Gwen!!

Thank you to Gwen and her mommy and daddy! I loved that you brought something new to the session – cupcakes and balloons were SO fun!! Can’t wait to see you all again!

Ireland Turns Three!! {Children Session}

September 27th, 2011

The first ten minutes of the session are always the most tricky when it comes to kids. I think within the first ten minutes of meeting you can tell if the session is going to be a success or not. I have to say, I wasn’t sure when I walked in to see Ireland. She didn’t remember me from the last time we did photos (she shouldn’t- she was two) and so it was a little tense for awhile. THEN her mommy went to grab something and Ireland was sitting with me in the foyer. We clicked. We talked about swimming and hide and go seek and what she did that day. After she opened up – there was no stopping her. She is quite the talker now!! I love it!

I love it. I love when I’m surprised. I thought that we weren’t going to get Ireland to smile that day but guess what? She didn’t stop. She is the sweetest and cutest little three year old! We went to the park, beach and even for a walk in the woods (where Elmo ran by a couple of times).

It was a pleasure to see this family once again and I can’t wait till next time.

Enjoy the preview!

Yep. She knows she’s adorable.

She is at the age where all she knows is – GO.

Yep – this three year old knows how to plan the Violin!

She is honestly one of the happiest little girls!

She is also very inquisitiveness.

Who doesn’t love a good swing?

LOVE this.

Yes, this outfit totally happened and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Flying through the beach!

Another favorite :)

The sweet little fairy in the woods :)

Looking for Elmo :)

Thank you to Ireland and her mommy and daddy!!! I had a blast once again and cannot wait until November!!

A Sweet Family of Four {Family Session}

September 8th, 2011

This was the third session I had over labor day weekend and I couldn’t have asked for nicer clients. They were an incrediably sweet family of four – dad, mom and two little girls – and, of course, their dog. Seeing how sweet these little girls were to each other made my decision much clearer (I need to have just girls :) )

We started at their house and then made our way all over downtown Plymouth (LOVE that city). We did everything from their backyard to the train tracks. We got cozy, urban and greenery all in one session! It was perfect.

Hope you enjoy the preview!

The beautiful family.

How stinkin cute are these sisters?!

Love taking photos at clients houses – it makes the photos so personal- on their front porch!

Again with the cuteness.

The adorable girls.

A favorite – love the feeling.

They all just look so cool.

I love going to train tracks – they just look so awesome. Another favorite.

Love.

Love this.

Yep, that’s how cute these two are — didn’t even ask them to hold hands.

Heading over to the park!

Love.

Thank you to this awesomely adorable family! I had a blast going around Plymouth with all of you and I sincerely hope that we can get together again soon!

Labor Day Session Number One {Family Session}

September 5th, 2011

This family is no stranger to my blog – and I’m so happy about that :)

This time, we added a few more people – the little guys grandparents from way across the pond. We had an amazing day (maybe just a little too hot) and got some great photos! He was smiling from ear to ear the moment I got there – which I was ecstatic about – I knew it was going to be a good session!  We went everywhere around the house – inside, outside, sand and water! It made for such a variety of shots!

I truly really enjoy taking this families portraits and hope I can do it again soon!

Enjoy the preview!

Twins and a Newborn {Family Session}

August 22nd, 2011

How lucky am I that I get to photograph such cute kids? This past weeks session was NO exception. I got contacted by my husbands cousin to do some photos for her sister who recently had an adorable baby boy! I was super excited to do this and was not expecting what I heard next … she had twin 20 month olds as well!! Now I was EXTREMELY excited!

When I got there the twins were a little shy but when they realized I was a friend they started to get use to me. The baby was adorable! They stole my heart when they put on a little MSU hat  - GO Green!

I had an amazing time and I hope that I have a chance to see this sweet family again!

Seriously – what the cute?!

See – they even smiled for me!!

The adorable twins :)

Jack and Emma {Children Session}

August 10th, 2011

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jack and Miss. Emma – two adorable kids. Their mommy and daddy brought them to Firefighters Park to get some photos taken and I’m sure glad they did. This was another family that we had to reschedule a couple of times because of how hot it had been. Luckily, we had a gorgeous day!  Not too hot and a bit of a breeze.

Jack was just turning three and Emma had just turned one. There was a lot of celebrate! At the end of the session their mommy brought out some huge suckers and the smiles on their faces couldn’t get any bigger. I just love when parents add something special to the session! It was perfect!

Hope you enjoy the preview!!

The gorgeous family.

Love the feel to this image :)

This one makes me smile :)

<3

Jack is such a little cutie!

And not to be out done by her brother, little Emma.

How precious is this?

Come on lady, enough pictures.

Ummm… love this.

Such a great family!

Emma’s turned ONE!!

I swear she is one of the happiest little girls! SO friendly!

IN love with this one. SOOOOO cute!

Love it. Trying to catch up to her brother.

I just loved the idea of the sucker!! I think someone else did too :)

Hypnotized by the sugar!

I just liked too many of them!!

Loving the face after the sucker!

Emma’s face was just as good!

Walking away with her sucker … session over :)

Thank you to Jack, Emma and their mommy and daddy! I had a blast and am super happy we could finally get together! Hope Jack had a great birthday!! See you guys soon!
