I LOVE when I get requests for baby boys! I don’t get them that often so when they come by I get so excited because truthfully? Little boys have the cutest little clothes! Especially when their mommies dress them up so well!

This past weekend I got the opportunity to photograph two boys! The first up was little baby Joshua! He had the sweetest smile and the cutest little personality. It was a joy to work with him and his mommy and daddy!

Baby Emma and Family {Metro Detroit Family Photographer}

To say I was excited when Erin emailed me about Emma’s photos is an understatement. Erin and I work together and about five months ago she had a beautiful baby girl. Since then she has brought Emma in a couple times to work and each time I was a complete baby hog (I can’t help it).

This past Saturday I went to their home to take some fun family photos. I was greeted with a huge smile and thankfully those smiles continued throughout the session! I honestly had a blast with the three of them and I can’t wait to see Emma again … soon!!

Caitlyn ~ Nine Months {Metro Detroit Baby Photographer}

This past weekend I was able to see another family that I truly adore! I have been photographing this family since Caitlyn was three months old! She is now the big NINE months and the one year is really not that far away. She is clapping, waving and saying dada. It is incredibly cute to watch.

We have done their other sessions outside but this time we opted for a more intimate setting in their home. I loved it!

The outfits on Caitlyn were to die for and her cuteness was out of this world. I can’t wait till next time!

Baby Matteo ~ Six Months {Metro Detroit Baby Photographer}

I just love when I get contacted by this family! I have so much respect for this mother with FIVE boys.

This time the get together was for Matteo’s six month photos. This little guy has become so handsome and his personality is just the sweetest. We had a good time putting him in different outfits and hats (who says boy clothes aren’t fun?). We, of course, had to end with a little fun with his four brothers!

I seriously think I hit the jackpot with clients. This past weekend I got the chance to photograph the coolest, sweetest, most awesome family. They got recommended from another awesome client so I pretty much knew I was going to get along with them.

We had talked about doing photos inside but we decided to do them at Beverly Park. At the time they booked the session my thoughts went straight to snow and winter and bundled up shots. Well, on Saturday, it was about 40 some degrees with nothing but sunshine. In the middle of winter we were able to get a spring like photo shoot! I was so excited about the weather!!

Not only was the weather awesome – this session was. It was a three year, family, maternity session all rolled into one! We were able to grab so many different and fun shots – I didn’t want to stop! Can’t wait to see this wonderful family again – with their new bundle of joy!!

Baby Frankie and Family {Metro Detroit Family Photographer}

It is so fun to get contacted from someone I went to high school with. I’ve been getting a lot of sessions from people who went to my high school lately and I’ve absolutely loved every second of it. Tina was a grade above me and I can still remember us playing soccer together in 7th (me) and 8th (her) grade.

Tina and Mike got married two years ago and this past October their little Frankie arrived. Frankie is beyond rock star. He was incredible! He has just perfect little features and was a blast to take photos of. I think he might have a career in modeling someday.

Ellison Turns ONE! {Metro Detroit Family Photographer)

Repeat clients always make me smile. It gives me a chance to see the little ones grow and I’m able to catch up on everything that’s been going on in their lives. This family is one of the kindest I have ever worked with. As I’ve said before, I graduated High School with Ellison’s mommy and this was my third time capturing the special moments in their life. I have been lucky enough to do Ellison’s newborn photos, six month photos and now her big first year photos.

One year photos might be my very favorite. I pretty much know that they will always involve the cutest little outfits, balloons and of course, cake. Add some snowy photos and this mad for a pretty amazing session. Ellison has such a personality now and is giving her parents a run for their money. She is very active and is interested in everything around her.

Ellison and I had an epic ‘Hi’ off (one of her favorite words) and she showed me all around her house. When it came to digging into the cupcake she had no problem whatsoever. She LOVED it! This session in one word was FUN!

Kennedy ~ Three Month Session {Metro Detroit Children Photographer}

When I was a kid I use to always want to act and be like my cousin Erika. I didn’t have a sister or any cousins that were my age – so it was her I would look up too (I may have even been annoying at times). This is why I get so excited to spend time with her and her family – because I feel the same way as I did when I was a kid. It’s so fun to see her in the role of mother – she’s great at it. She and her husband, Justin, recently had another girl – Kennedy!

You can already see that Kennedy is starting to come into her own looks and have her own little personality. She is at the perfect cuddling age and she has some serious rock star hair.

The thing I enjoy the most about doing sessions for family members is the fact that I can hold and love on the babies! It was hard for me to put her down and start the session! She is the newest baby in the family which means that not holding her when I see her is really not an option. After some time I was able to get down to business and I think we got some really sweet shots!
